Market activity jumped 49.2% up to 37.42Mn shares to push market turnover up 4.8% to KES 836.18Mn.
The day’s top movers were Kenya Power, Equity Group and Safaricom.
Foreign activity declined from 31.3% to 15.8% with a net foreign inflow of KES 101.25Mn.
Secondary bonds’ turnover grew marginally by 14.8% from KES14.16Bn to KES 16.26Bn while number of deals shrinking from 198 to 184.
